Euthanasia- a legal way to die?

Euthansia-
Euthanasia is the pratice of medically-assisted death, and is illegal in most countires.

Most patients who seek euthanasia(mercy killings) often due to their bodily disfunctions, feeling of despair towards life and the sufferings they have to bear due to their sickness. People with bodily disfunctions often seeks sucide as they felt useless as they are alive like normal person, yet they could not live as a normal person. The inability of using their body functions leads to their feelings of despair in life, thinking that they had lost their functions, and became useles and life is worthless to them. So instead of being alive, they wanted to choose to die so that they wouldnot be a burden to their families and to the society.

People suffering from unbearable pain seeks for mercy killings as the pain they have to bear were too much for them and their sick body and euthanasia and sucide often became their ways to redeem themselves from their miseries.

Talking about religion, as a free-thinker, there is no opinion about euthanasia from my religion. However according to the Ten commandments, one should not commit murder as it is a sin. Since euthanasia is a way of killing, despite of the consent of the person who seeks death, is still a way of murdering to some people. Therefore according to the bible, Euthanasia is a sin.

In most countries, Euthanasia is not a legal action as it creates controveries and many quarrels, like the teri shiavo case. Singapore has yet to legalise euthanasia, and euthanasia should not be conjured in the country. However, there is a possibilities for the legalisation for Euthanasia if the majority of the citizen supported Euthanasia to be conducted in singapore as well..

I seriously do not think that euthanasia is a way. We are given life to live, and we should all treasure it and live our life happily, no matter in what states we will be or are in.
